Connection Technology Systems (CTS) EPS-3128 is a layer2+ Gigabit PoE switch equipped with 24 PoE+ ports 10/100/1000Mbps RJ-45 and 4 combo uplink ports (10/100/1000Mbps RJ-45 + 100/1000Mbps SFP slots). All combo SFP slots can accommodate wide range of SFP transceivers including single-mode, multi-mode, WDM or CWDM. EPS-3128 is perfect for service providers and enterprises who plan to implement FTTX or Metro Ethernet networks, with further spanning into triple-play service. EPS-3128 delivers wire-speed throughput for data, voice and surveillance/IPTV services, using non-blocking 56Gbps switching fabric. EPS-3128 supports IEEE 802.3at PoE technology, up to 30W per port and maximum 100m transmission distance and equipped with to support maximum 480W or 240W for total PoE power. The managed switch even supports time-based PoE, defining the time interval when power devices are desired to be automatically powered on a daily or weekly basis, for budget-conscious users to be more efficient power management. Many service providers are extending their existing data service with triple-play service because it can generate higher revenue return by combining data, voice and IPTV in one box. Advanced features including MVR**, IGMP snooping, IGMP fast leave, IGMP filtering, various QoS classifications and rate limit control facilitate service providers to deploy a manageable network environment and deliver a successful triple-play service.
