We know how vital it is for employees to integrate and develop professionally through training provided by their employers. While a well-developed concept globally, it is a relatively new concept for Albania where it is seen as a risk investment by many businesses.
Communication Progress (Tekreja’s Parent Company) values its employees as the most important asset in the company. Committed to employees, by promoting, rewarding and creating a work environment that reflects the company values.
A safe, fair and supportive working environment is critical for having a productive and motivated workforce. For this reason, the company engages in a fair and effective management of human resources. To take it a step further, Communication Progress founded IMPRO Academy, a training and Internship program that allows students or graduates to train at our offices & facilities in their associated departments. This is a well-designed program that offers students the possibility to practice and learn by doing what they have studied in theory. IMPRO Academy also offers the possibility of employment after the training process. This business solution model has been quite efficient for the organization and attractive to potential employees.
One such example is Gloria, an alumnus of IMPRO Academy who today works as a business analyst at Communication Progress. Gloria graduated at the University of Vlora and undertook a master’s degree at the University of Warsaw. She was part of the program and upon completion she became an active part of the team. Six months after, she is sharing her experience with us. Gloria highly recommends the training program as a channel that bridges the gap of experience and knowledge that all graduates face upon finishing university.
Answering the question ‘Does the job come with the training?’ she says:
First thing that comes to mind is that if you are serious about working in Communication Progress, you’ll be on your way to getting the job. I have been introduced to IMPRO through very organised, systematic orientation sessions. I got the guidance that I needed during my training process, where trainers were always ready to respond to my requests for assistance and help. They encouraged me to take initiatives and master the basics on my own. That was greatly appreciated.
Gloria has high hopes for her career in consultancy and this is the kind of values that we enjoy building through IMPRO Academy, motivating youth and providing a new development model in the Albanian market.
If you are a student that wants to follow on Gloria’s footsteps, you can find out how on our Education page.
