Outdoor-ready video surveillance

The IP66-and NEMA 4X-rated AXIS Q1635-E offers aluminum and robust casing, sunshield to simplify installation time and costs. It is protected from dust, rain, snow and sun, and can operate in temperatures from -40 °C to 60 °C (-40 °F to 140 °F) using High PoE (30 W).

Steady video during vibration

The electronic image stabilization greatly improves video quality in situations where the camera is subject to vibration and the video, without electronic image stabilization, would be troublesome to view.

Innovative installation features

Along with the common ease-of-installation capabilities known for AXIS Q16 Series, AXIS Q1635-E includes new innovative features to help installers to mount the camera. The leveling assistance guides to the correct level, meaning that the camera can be installed wherever but always have a perfect image.

More video, less storage

AXIS Q1635-E incorporates Axis Zipstream technology, which is a radically more efficient H.264 implementation, lowering bandwidth and storage requirements by an average 50% or more for many common 24/7 surveillance use cases.
