F Series Sensor Compatibility

The Axis F41 main unit is compatible with the following Axis F Series sensor units with cable lengths available in a 10′ or 39′.

• AXIS F1005-E: for indoor and outdoor use; IP66 dust and water-resistant; 1080p video resolution, 113° wide-angle view, fixed 2.8mm lens
• AXIS F1015: for indoor use; 3 to 6mm varifocal lens, 53 to 108° views, 1080p video resolution
• AXIS F1025: for indoor use; 3.7mm fixed pinhole lens, 1080p video resolution, 92° wide-angle view
• AXIS F1035-E: for indoor or outdoor use; IP66 dust and water-resistant, 1080p video resolution, 1.3 mm, f/2.8 fisheye lens, ultra-wide 194° field of view

Hardware

• RS232 Connector: 5-pin terminal block for serial interface used to control auxiliary equipment
• RJ12 Connector: For connecting the sensor unit to the main unit
• SD card slot, supports up to 64GB cards

Software

• Configure the Live View Page to user preferences or requirements
• Mirror and/or Rotate image: Adjust the image orientation for easier viewing
• Stream Profile: Predefine stream settings including resolution, compression, frame rate and overlay settings
• Image Appearance: Color level, Brightness, Sharpness, Contrast, Local Contrast (a specific area in field of view that requires special settings)
• Supports third-party applications such as video analytics and intelligent video capabilities such as facial/license plate recognition, tracking, detection, and counting

Imaging

• Wide Dynamic Range (WDR) – Forensic Capture: Enables enhanced detail to make subjects visible in both bright and dark areas of a scene
• White Balance: Used to make colors in the image appear the same regardless of the color temperature of the light source
• Backlight compensation: Adjusts when a bright spot of light, like a light bulb, causes other areas in the image to appear too dark
• Exposure zones: Determines which part of the image is used to calculate the exposure
• Shutter and Gain: Automatically adjusts to minimize the amount of motion blur and noise in the image
• Privacy Mask: Block sensitive areas from recording and live-view to protect privacy, such as ATM keypads

Events

• Camera Tampering: Detects when the camera is moved, defocused, or covered and triggers an Event
• Video Motion Detection: Adjustable sensitivity from 5 to 95, with Include windows and Exclude windows
• Audio Detection: With an external microphone connected, will trigger an Event
• Third party Application: If video analytics are running, these applications can trigger and Event
• External devices: If devices such as PIRs, door/window contacts, smoke/fire detectors, or glass-break sensors are connected, they can trigger an Event when tripped
• Lost/restored network connection
• Scheduled events: Recording can begin/end at user defined periods, or other events like motion detection will only be active at certain days/time
• Manual Trigger: Users can trigger an Event through the Live View window
